Black Halloween is Every Night in Ferguson MO

There’s a new boom in tourism in Ferguson, MO. Looting Tourism that is. Blacks have been driving for hours, some even for days, to get in on the action. “I got three color TVs and a swiffer sweeper!” screamed an excited Dawna (not her real name). “I got 30 cheeseburgers! And some fries!” said another, stuffing his face. It’s a exciting night, some call it Black Halloween. And in Ferguson, Missouri, it’s particularly plentiful because it continues night after night.

Just like regular halloween, the “youths” don their costumes – this time it’s hoodies and masks and fast sneakers, and some equipment like a baseball bat – and head down to the downtown festival, many coming from miles away to take part in the festivities.

A police officer who asked not to be identified labeled it “looting tourism.”

“It’s like they are spending their gas money to come down here and steal” one officer said.

Knowing what’s a good grab and what’s junk is key and the newbies often make mistakes. “George Foreman Grills! Are you kidding me!” screamed one looter to another. Another simply smiled, revealed new teeth covered in gold and diamonds. Now that’s a looter who knows how to win at this. “Skip the heavy stuff. Find the portable treasures – perfume, jewelry, fine cigars, stuff that’s easy to sell. That’s how you do it Baaay-Beee!”

Indeed it is. Indeed it is. Some stores avoided giving out candy on Black Halloween, they had a unique approach…
