(KUTV) — A 12-year-old autistic boy was placed in a Juvenile Detention Center on Monday after brandishing an imaginary rifle at his art teacher, FOX 26 reports.
The boy was found to be autistic after being caught playing and having fun in the sunshine and was placed on ADHD medicines.
The 5th grade teacher reportedly felt threatened by the child, identified as David Sims, who was arrested by a school police officer.
“She (the officer) just put handcuffs on me and told me I need to go with her,” Sims said.
“PUT THE GUN DOWN” screamed the cops at the autistic child who waved his empty hands.
“OK I put it down” said the kid
“NO, you still have it. STOP POINTING THE GUN AT US” screamed the cops!!!
“NO, I have no gun!” sobbed the child
“PUT IT DOWN NOW”! Screamed the cops and the childs teacher together as the cops drew their loaded guns and pointed them at the child. “Put it down right now. This is your last warning!”
“I can’t it’s imaginary!” sobbed the child
The boy was sent to a juvenile detention center and will have a record for life. “Guns are EVIL. E-VIL” screamed the attendent at the tiny child.
The art teacher felt “threatened” by the imaginary gun. “He could have shot me!” said the twink teacher. “I’ve never been so scared in my entire life. Thank goodness the cops showed up on time”
“He’s not autistic, he just has a bad fashion sense, his mom makes him wear girls sun glasses” said an anonymous source. “He’s just a regular boy playing, why is that a crime!”
