A hunt for a ravenous grizzly bear turned up the wrong animal when a WEREWOLF was shot and killed.
“We have no idea what this was until we get a DNA report back,” said Bruce Auchly, information manager for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. “It was near a rancher’s place, it was shot, and our game wardens went to investigate. The whole animal was sent to our lab in Bozeman. That’s the last I ever heard of it.”
“Thasa WEREWOLF if I e’r den seen one” said a Montana mountain man known as Willy. “They are highly intelligent and I’ve never seen one taken alive.”
When asked how it compares to a 2,000 pound Grizzly bear Willie replied
“Grizzly’s got no chance, the were’s are smarter faster and more intelligent. Saw one once take down two with one swipe. But these are good spirits, they only help people in the woods, its only city folk that cause trouble”
A long wail could be heard echo-ing through the mountainside for hours as the huge creature was carried off on a stretcher.
